Download Phantom Wallet
Phantom is the leading Solana wallet. Available as a browser extension (Chrome, Brave, Firefox) and mobile app (iOS and Android).

Open Phantom and select "Create a new wallet." You will be given a 12-word or 24-word seed phrase. This is your master key.
Never share your seed phrase with anyone — not even BRIC.
Secure Your Seed Phrase
Write your seed phrase on paper. Store it in a physically secure location. Consider a fireproof safe or multiple offline copies.
Digital storage (screenshots, email, cloud) is high-risk.
Verify Your Wallet Address
Your Solana wallet address starts with a string of letters and numbers. Copy it from Phantom to verify it is correct before sharing.
